This course prepares the learner for a entry level job and will cover website building and web development using HTML, style it with CSS, and then make it interactive using JavaScript. Additionally you will learn back end develpment with PHP and MySQL. The course will also introduce various JavaScript librarys.
No prior attainment is required to enrol on the bootcamp. Skills Bootcamps are open to all adults aged 19 or over, who are full-time or part-time employed, self-employed, unemployed (i.e., not in work), as well as adults returning to work after a break.
Discover web development and learn to build your own interactive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Learn about the box model, which describes how websites are laid out by browsers, and about the Document Object Model, which your JavaScript code will interact with to dynamically change your web pages. In the final weeks, you’ll design and create a quiz web page and demonstrate your new skills by making your own website.
