The Apple Tree Restaurant is located on the top floor of the main building at Grantham College & University Centre. Join us in our relaxed & friendly restaurant to enjoy one of our beautifully-prepared dishes at an extremely reasonable price.
All of our food is freshly prepared and served by our Catering and Hospitality students, overseen by the Colleges industry trained and extremely experienced Lecturing team. This gives us the opportunity to provide high quality menu’s whilst offering our students vital work experience opportunities in a real life setting.

We are open to the public for lunch two days a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from midday until last orders at 1pm during term time.

Themed Evenings
As well as our seasonal menus, we also host a number of themed evenings throughout the academic year. The evenings focus on a specific cuisine or culinary delight. These events are always a sell out so it is best to book in advance.
Afternoon Tea
There’s nothing quite like a good traditional afternoon tea to catch up with friends. The Apple Tree invites you to enjoy a decadent variety of tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes – all homemade by our students and made even more special by the warm, friendly service from the Hospitality team.
Private function Hire
The Apple Tree Restaurant is an ideal venue for any event. We offer options for corporate events, parties as well as outside catering.
From breakfast, lunch and dinner we can create bespoke menus and packages to meet our customers individual needs.
