If your ambition is to work in the catering industry, Grantham College is a great place to begin. The combination of highly trained teaching staff, specialist facilities and a professional training kitchen will equip you with the skills required to work in this demanding industry.
We offer practical experience through our very own Apple Tree Restaurant, located on campus.
The restaurant is open to the public and allows you to gain real-life experience of working in the catering industry – from preparing classic to contemporary fusion dishes and a variety of fresh ice cream flavours and sauces for main dishes.
There is the opportunity to take part in the Leonardo exchange project, which offers you the chance to visit organisations across Europe.
Taking part will allow you to learn new skills, put into practice those skills already learnt in a different kitchen, and see the differences between the way this industry is run in the UK and how it is done in other countries across the Continent.
