Online Learning
Online learning is a way of learning remotely without attending lessons in a classroom or having regular face to face contact with a tutor. This means you can study at your own pace, in your own home, at a time that suits you, with the freedom to revisit areas of the course as little or as much as you like without having to keep the same pace as others. Our flexible start dates mean your course starts when you are ready. Our online courses allow you to study around current commitments such as work, family and hobbies, and is a cost-effective way to learn, saving costs incurred in travelling.
Key information regarding online learning courses
- Most of our online courses are fully funded and accredited at Level 2 or 3, but we also offer a selection of costed short CPD courses.
- You will need a laptop or PC to complete these courses.
- Online learning allows for completely bespoke professional development packages, helping
you achieve your career goals. - These online courses can take up to 12 weeks for a learner who employed full time, studying approximately 6 hours per week; your assessor can offer you support with your time management.
These courses are suitable for people who like to learn independently. They are able to set their own pace of study and choose where and when they want to study. Distance learning is useful if you want to gain qualifications from somewhere else in the world and don’t want to travel.
The costs of distance learning courses at Grantham College are FREE. Although registration and non-completion fees may apply.
