Supported Learning / SEND

At Grantham College, our Supported Learning/SEND courses are designed to help students aged 16 to 24 build confidence, independence and skills for life and work. We provide a caring, supportive environment where learners with or without an EHCP can achieve their potential, whether starting with no previous qualifications or aiming to progress further.

We offer flexible programmes from Pre-entry through to Level 2, with clear progression routes onto higher-level courses, supported internships and employability pathways. Alongside classroom learning, students benefit from enrichment opportunities such as trips, outdoor activities, sports and community projects, helping them to develop socially as well as academically.

Small class sizes, specialist tutors and tailored support ensure that individual needs are understood and met. Our facilities include accessible kitchens, IT resources, a sensory room, personal care suite, garden spaces and adapted sports equipment, giving every learner the opportunity to thrive.
