Learning Development

Our Learning Development courses focus on a wide range of topics intended to develop personal, independent and work-related skills.

We take pride in offering a caring and safe environment which will help to develop confidence in order for students to realise their potential. These courses are ideal for those with few or no previous qualifications.

Grantham College has a number of new and outstanding state of- the-art facilities designed for Learning Development students.

We also offer enterprise initiatives for work-based learning and practical work experience, including our own gift shop ‘Little Gems’, selling quality Fairtrade products, and horticulture enterprises including a market garden.

At the end of the academic year students get involved in their own prom, deciding on a theme and creating decorations. On the night, students are all presented with a certificate and can enjoy a buffet with their friends, teachers and families before dancing the night away.
