At Grantham College & University Centre, we aim to provide a friendly, welcoming, and close-knit community. For many students, this will be their first experience of living away from home, and those they live with in their College accommodation are likely to become their new friends.Safeguarding is extremely important to us at the College which is why all of our accommodation offerings are on-campus, where we can offer 24/7 security and support to our students
49 en-suite study bedrooms with shared kitchen and living facilities available to students aged between 16-19 years on full-time Further Education (FE) and apprenticeship programmes – there are a limited number of rooms suitable for physically disabled students.
3 houses of 6 bedrooms with shared bathroom, living and kitchen facilities available to Higher Education students and FE students who are 18 years or older on 1st September in the year they start their course.
- Single Room – £195.40 per week (students are required to vacate rooms over Christmas), totalling £8207.90 for Further Education and totalling £6839.00 for Higher Education. A small number of larger rooms are available at an increased rent.
- There is an option to share a room for which the cost is 75% of the full single room cost.
- Additional option to include breakfast and hot lunch. Further details on request.
- Nightly rate (to include bedding and towel provision) £35.
- All students, with exception of nightly or odd week borders – pay a damages deposit of £200, (refunded less any deductible costs at the end of the year).
- Internet/wireless fee included in the rent.
- College accommodation fees are invoiced for the full amount at the start of the academic year and offer the following payment options:
- Payment of full invoice.
- Payment Split over 3 terms to be paid before the start of each term (Sept, Dec & Mar).
- Monthly direct debit payments with the first payment in August.
