This course presents an introduction to website building and web development. On this course, you’ll first build a website using HTML, style it with CSS, and then make it interactive using JavaScript.

Am I Ready?

No prior attainment is required to enrol on the bootcamp. Skills Bootcamps are open to all adults aged 19 or over, who are full-time or part-time employed, self-employed, unemployed (i.e., not in work), as well as adults returning to work after a break.

Course Details

Discover web development and learn to build your own interactive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Learn about the box model, which describes how websites are laid out by browsers, and about the Document Object Model, which your JavaScript code will interact with to dynamically change your web pages.  In the final weeks, you’ll design and create a quiz web page and demonstrate your new skills by making your own website.

How you will benefit

  • Master the techniques to understand what your client organisation needs and how best to provide it
