Working with Schools

We work closely with teachers, advisers and other partners to offer a range of interactive outreach and recruitment activities. Our aim is to enthuse and inspire talented young people from all backgrounds about further education and beyond.

Grantham College and University Centre’s expert team is here to guide teachers and careers advisers looking for more information about Further and Higher Education options for their students.

Our activities

School/College Visits

We may be able to arrange visits to your school/college or for you to visit us. This can range from us attending one of your career fairs to a more bespoke activity such as us delivering a practical session/ workshop..

Grantham College & University Centre Open Events

Our Open Events are the ideal opportunity for you to bring groups of students to visit the College. Open Events usually take place in September, November, January and April.

Group Visits to Grantham College & University Centre

If your school or college group cannot attend one of our open day events, we are always happy to discuss arranging a tailor-made group visit or tour of the College to suit specific course interests and age groups.

Annual Careers Adviser and Teachers Conference

This is the ideal opportunity to find out more about our entry requirements and admission processes, as well as our approach to teaching and learning. We also talk about the varying types of qualification offerings and help advisers to understand the differences between these.

We are always looking for new ways to work with schools and colleges to encourage pupils to apply to Grantham College & University Centre so if you have a particular need that isn’t covered in our current activities list, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
