What can I expect?

Do you want a career in Engineering? Then we offer a wide range of courses giving you a broad range of education and training in key areas such as Mechanical, Production, Electrical and Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Installations, Electronics, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Rapid Prototyping Technology.

You will be taught by staff with extensive industrial experience in their chosen fields in a wide range of facilities including Mechanical, Maintenance and Electrical Engineering workshops.

You’ll use standard industrial equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), a mini digger, rough terrain forklift, 3D printing, 2D and 3D CAD and other software to enable you to gain hands-on experience to support your learning. Post-qualification you can follow on to Higher Education either directly to university or through an Apprenticeship combined with HNC/D, with a variety of options available at Grantham College.
