Digital Skills Bootcamp - Digital Marketing (Level 4)

Overview

This is an introduction to digital marketing. Learners will develop skills within the use of social media to advertise a service and product, and then monitor the effectiveness of the social media campaign.

Am I Ready?

No prior attainment is required to enrol on the bootcamp. Skills Bootcamps are open to all adults aged 19 or over, who are full-time or part-time employed, self-employed, unemployed (i.e., not in work), as well as adults returning to work after a break.

Course Details

Overview and discussion of social media.  Features of social media.  Popularity of social media.  Research of social media sites.  Structures of social media sites.  Target audiences.  Best practice for presenting information on social media.  Introduction to media campaigns.

Assessment

In order to successfully achieve this qualification a learner must fully meet all of the learning outcomes. This will be met by internal assessment work.

 

Your Next Steps

Learners may progress onto our full-time courses in Digital Skills: Information and Creative Technology (Level 2), IT Diploma or Extended Diploma (Level 3), or our new T-Level in Digital Business Services. We also have opportunities for apprenticeships in Digital Marketing, Digital Support, and IT Solutions.
