Grantham College Student secures career with EasyJet!
4 April 2023Shanice Rowlands completed the Level 2 Introduction to Cabin Crew course last year here at Grantham College. From this, she secured a job with Easy jet as a Cabin crew member. After speaking with Shanice, she said that the course here at Grantham College really helped her achieve this, and helped her prepare for the intensive training that she went on to do at Gatwick as they covered the NITS briefing, what to do if crashing in certain conditions( protection, location, water and food), ABPs, ditching, CLEAR and more! Our expert teacher Jamie Steel who has real industry experience working for a major airline, comes in to the college every 5 weeks to teach and assess the students giving real honest feedback, preparing them for the work. Shanice was also able to undertake swimming lessons (a vital part of cabin crew knowledge) and pass her driving test – both of which helped her prepare for the working world!
