Grantham College Welcomes FE Commissioner to Campus

Grantham College recently welcomed Shelagh Legrave, UK Further Education (FE) Commissioner, to its campus for a visit showcasing the College’s specialist facilities and equipment.

During her visit, Shelagh met with Paul Deane, Principal and Chief Executive, and Chris Turner, Chair of the Corporation. She also toured several areas of the College, including the Engineering and Automotive department, gaining insight into the College’s provision and learning environment.

In her role as FE Commissioner until January 2026, Shelagh works closely with local authorities and further education providers across the UK to improve the quality of education for learners, strengthen financial resilience, enhance leadership, and reduce the risk of intervention.

Grantham College continues to invest in high-quality facilities and industry-standard equipment to support student learning and skills development across a range of specialist subject areas.

Grantham College offers a range of FE programmes T Levels, Vocational courses, Apprenticeship, Adult Learning and Higher Education.

These programmes are delivered across a range of subjects, including Animal Care, Art & Design and Media, Business, Health & Social Care, Childcare, Computing, Construction, Sport, Public Services and much more.
