T-Level Students from Business and Engineering departments at Grantham College will again be competing in the F1 Schools Competition this year with their team Strive.

The Strive STEM Racing Team, a youth-led engineering and racing team will be showcasing cutting-edge design, student leadership, and a renewed commitment to inspiring the next generation of engineers. Comprised of students specialising in design, engineering, manufacturing, branding, and finance, Strive STEM Racing competes in national STEM-based racing challenges where teams design, build, and race miniature engineering projects. This year’s team features:
“With every season, our students take bigger creative risks, develop stronger engineering solutions, and demonstrate the impact of hands-on STEM learning,” said Neil Tobin team coordinator. “Strive STEM Racing does more than race cars—our students learn leadership, collaboration, and real-world engineering skills.”
This season promises new engineering breakthroughs, bold design choices from the team’s graphic department, and improved performance from both the manufacturing and aerodynamics divisions.
“Our goal is to build not just a high-performance racing team, but a programme that genuinely inspires young people to see themselves as future engineers, designers, and innovators,” said Lily, Sponsorship and Marketing Manager. “We welcome partners who want to champion STEM education and youth achievement.”
The team have already kindly had a sponsored photoshoot with Nicola Auckland from www.nicolaaucklandphotography.co.uk
And are excited to announce they will be supported by BGB, JAAN Learning and Development, Logos4Clothes and Taking Care of Driving.
