Grantham College University Centre as a Lincoln Bishop University Partner to Offer Level 6 Top-Up Qualifications

Grantham College University Centre, in partnership with Lincoln Bishop University, is proud to announce a new collaboration to offer BA (Hons) Level 6 Top-Up qualifications, expanding opportunities for learners to progress in higher education and achieve a full undergraduate degree-level award. 

The two institutions have worked closely together to deliver Level 4 and Level 5 Foundation Degrees at Grantham College University Centre, with qualifications awarded by Lincoln Bishop University. This partnership has enabled students to study locally within a supportive and familiar learning environment while benefiting from a university awarded qualification. 

Emma Marshall, Programme Lead for the Lincoln Bishop courses at Grantham College, shared:

“We have worked closely in partnership with Lincoln Bishop University (formerly Bishop Grosseteste University) for over ten years, delivering Level 4 and Level 5 Foundation Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Education, Special Educational Needs, and Health and Social Care at Grantham College.

“We are really delighted that we will for the first time from September 2026 be offer BA (Hons) Level 6 Top-Up years in Early Childhood Education and Education in Practice for students with a relevant Level 5 qualification.

“Students have asked to be able to complete their degrees at Grantham, and we have worked hard with Lincoln Bishop University to make this happen. This collaboration enables students to take the next step in their academic and professional journey here in Grantham.

“We are very much looking forward to working with our current and former students, as well as welcoming learners from other colleges and universities, onto these courses in September.”

The BA (Hons) Level 6 Top‑Up qualifications will be awarded by Lincoln Bishop University and delivered by Grantham College University Centre, with the first intake commencing in September 2026.
