Good luck to our Lincolnshire ‘Youngtrepreneur’ Challenge 2025 Finalists!

The Student Enterprise team from The University of Lincoln joined us this week for an Entrepreneurship Day. 

Our T-Level Level 1 and 2 Business students took on the first stage of the Lincolnshire ‘Youngtrepreneur’ Challenge 2025—a competition where students get to create and pitch their own business ideas! 

Students were against the clock as they had only one hour to generate ideas for a new product or service.  It was no mean feat- they had to consider the unique selling points of their idea, alongside sustainability and market potential. 

With ideas ranging from rentable fitness equipment, to footballs that could change shape, students dived into business idea generation, sustainable development, and the art of pitching. Everyone impressed the panel with their innovative concepts.

The winning team Lily-Belle Turner, Kian Sandford-Bunn and Virag Szucs have advanced to the finals, with their idea ‘Sole Switch’. They now have a few weeks to develop their product further and get ready to pitch their ideas to a panel of experts for a chance to win prizes and goodies.

The final will be held at the University of Lincoln’s Brayford Campus on the 24^th June and will see Grantham College compete against other colleges from across the county.
