Culture in the Community Grantham College
6 May 2026On Tuesday 28th April, staff, students, stall holders and members of the public celebrated another successful year of Culture in the Community, held in the College’s Sports Hall.

Culture in the Community Brings Grantham Together
The event welcomed many local organisations, including Authentic Worth Publishing, Belton House and Woolsthorpe Manor, Chevalier School of Dance, Grantham African and Afro‑Caribbean Social Group, Grantham Library, Hive FM, Helping Hands Grantham and Union Street Gallery.
Each stall gave visitors the chance to take part in activities such as tasting food from around the world, getting henna, printmaking, watching performances, and learning about different traditions and local services across the community.
The event helped people connect with one another and learn more about what is happening locally. College staff were also available to talk about courses and learning opportunities at Grantham College.
