Taught in our industry-standard salons, you'll train with the latest specialist equipment, developing the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the beauty sector.
You can enter with a Level 1 qualification or by passing a skills test and interview. Get ready to learn, practice, and shine in the beauty world!

During this course, you’ll learn:
You will have the chance to expand your skills by choosing from a range of optional and specialist units. These may include tanning application, professional make-up techniques, hair removal methods like threading or sugaring, eyelash perming, ear piercing, nail art, reception duties, and retail display to promote sales. This flexible course structure allows you to tailor your learning and develop the essential skills needed to become a junior beauty therapist.
Assessment for this course is a mix of practical assessments, exams, and written assignments.
Full Time Further Education courses are free to school leavers and those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course. Exam resit fees may apply as applicable.

As part of the course, you’ll have the chance to go on exciting trips and participate in a variety of enrichment activities at Grantham College.

Additionally, you’ll complete 30 hours of work experience, helping you build essential skills and a strong professional portfolio.
The successful completion of the Level Two programme may lead to a Level Three qualification in Beauty Therapy or employment.
