This course is for those who have sucessfully completed level 1 carpentry and joinery and wish to further their knowledge by progressing to level 2.

The Level 2 Site Carpentry Diploma allows you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Site Carpentry.

This qualification will be achieved through practical assessments and multiple choice exams.
Full Time Further Education courses are free to school leavers and those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course. Exam resit fees may apply as applicable.

Students enrolling onto their first full Level 2 or Level 3 course or below who are aged between 19 and 23 may be able to enrol for free. Students that are unemployed and currently seeking work, or on a low income of up to £25,750 per annum may be able to enrol to a course at Level 2 or below free of charge. In order to be able to study on this course you will need to purchase a kit which includes the essential range of equipment for you to start the course. A construction site uniform is also available to order and is mandatory. Both kit and uniform should be ordered in advance of starting the course. You will also need to wear steel toe capped boots when entering all areas within the construction site.
Progression onto Level 3 Diploma Site or Architectural Joinery or an Apprenticeship.
