Do you want to be an electrical engineer? The HND lechanical Engineering course will teach you the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, and mathematics. The HND course is ideal for those who want to progress in the engineering industry and provides a platform for further study or training.
Delivery of the HND will take place at The Institute of Technology at Grantham College via formal lectures and practical workshops/tutorials. Related course materials are available on the colleges ‘MS teams’ channels. The course is taught between 7.5 and 9 hours a week on a day release basis and for each taught hour in the classroom at least one hour of self study will be required. The course runs over 1.5 academic years.
There is a mixture of specialist’s staff delivering the course, with varying industrial, academic and teaching experience. All staff have a BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) degrees in their field of expertise.

However other assessment methods are used, such as follows : -
Stationary will be required. Such as pens, paper, folder, geometry set & calculator – (minimum recommend Casio FX83 or FX85 model)
Direct entry onto a BEng (hons) in Mechanical Engineering at a University.
