This course is suitable for school leavers who have an interest in Film and TV, Music and how the Media industry operates.
3 GCSEs at grade D/3or above.
Over the course you will cover a range of topics that include, but are not limited to, film production, film editing, sound design, photography and pre-production materials. This will include using a range of equipment from shooting with Panasonic GH5’s in 4k, a variety of lighting and sound equipment as well as use of the MAC suites that are equipped with the most recent adobe updates. The software you will use will include Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop with access to a range of others.
The course is assessed throughout the year with a series of projects and portfolio work produced independently or as part of a team. Your individual contribution will be graded across the 5 learning outcomes as set out by the course provider.
Full Time Further Education courses are free to school leavers and those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course. Exam resit fees may apply as applicable.
