Halloween and half term are nearly upon us. So, whether you’re stuck for something to do or you want to get in a seasonal mood, follow our guide to everything Halloween this half term across Lincolnshire.
1) Wyndham Park – Halloween Spooktacular
Pop down to Wyndham Park on Sunday 28th October between 1.30-4.30pm for an afternoon full of spooky fun! With a scary trail full of games, a fancy-dress contest, pumpkin competition and street entertainment – you won’t want to miss out on this frightful event.
2) Belvoir Castle – Halloween Activities at the Engine Yard
This year, Belvoir Castle will be holding a whole range of Halloween Activities at the Engine Yard. With full for all ages, you’ll be a fool to miss out. With apple bobbing, craft making, pumpkin carving and much more – make sure you head down between the 27th-31st October. 3) Burghley House – various Halloween events
Burghley have gone all out this year with whole range of different events. From the 17th Oct-31st Oct you can head over for a Spooky Tour, whilst there is also a Halloween trail from 20th-28th Oct in the Sculpture Garden where you may even receive a treat afterwards. Furthermore, there is a Beastly Boring Burghley Tour where you can look through the house and hear all about the gruesome history of the house. 4) Doddington Hall – PYO Pumpkins
Head down to Doddington Hall between 20th-31st October where you can pick your own pumpkins, take part in the scarecrow competition and go ghost-busting in the Doddington Hall gardens. 5) Lincoln Castle – Prison of Smells, Spooks and Stories
Head down to the Victorian Prison at Lincoln Castle between 20th-28th October to hear a whole range of spooky stories. Discover the gruesome characters of Lincoln Castle Prison and see what it would be like to live behind bars in the Victorian times. 6) Bell’s pumpkin patch – PYO pumpkins
At Bell’s Pumpkin Patch near Boston you can join in various activities. Opening on the 13th October and all through half term, you can pick up pumpkins, go through a maize maze, carve your own pumpkin and so much more.
7) Rand Farm Park – Spooky Spectacular Fun
Pop down to Rand Farm Park, located just outside Lincoln, for a week fun of Halloween activities. Pick your own pumpkin and carve it in the new pumpkin barn, enjoy Halloween crafts and ghost buster trails. Not to mention on 31st October Rand is open late at night for a Halloween tea time treat.
