Therapists treat parents to well-earned pamper day

Students kindly give up time to reward parents of disabled children

Caring and compassionate therapists from the college’s R&R Salon treated parents and carers of disabled children to a well-earned luxury pamper day.

The guardians of Grantham Disabled Children’s Society’s members received comforting facials, manicures and pedicures at a reduced price as part of the gesture.

An afternoon tea-style lunch was also enjoyed by the clients, as provided by Alison Telfer on behalf of GDCS.

Emma Sudlow, Beauty Therapy lecturer at Grantham College, said: “The day went really well. All the parents enjoyed their treatments, and it was a welcome time to relax and look after themselves.”

Another pamper day has been organised for Wednesday 8 May.
