Grantham College Carpentry students make bird boxes for Woodhead Group

Grantham College Carpentry students were recently contacted by Woodhead Group to create bird boxes for their Trent Road housing construction site.

Woodhead Group are an award winning construction company that offer distinct specialisms in the heritage, education, improvement and housing sectors. They have also provided work experience for some of our construction students in the past; some of which wanted to continue working with them on a part time basis.

The Level 3 students; Charles Willmore, Jack Trowell and Kieran Sayer used their lunch hour to create the bird boxes. The bird boxes will be used to encourage wildlife on the new housing estate.
