Grantham Football Club was the venue for the first presentation evening to the Gingerbreads Soccer School attendees on Saturday 13 December.
The young lads aged between 6 and 12 years old were invited to the presentation along with their families for an evening of fun and food before being presented with their certificates by Marketing & Media Officer at Grantham College, Laura Taylor.
Laura Taylor, Marketing & Media Officer at Grantham College commented:
I was very honoured to be invited to the presentation evening and was asked to present the young lads, who have worked so hard for the last six weeks, with their certificates. The Gingerbreads logo, which was designed by a BTEC Extended Diploma in Digital Design and Graphics student from Grantham College, Sara Harper, worked really well on t-shirts and water bottles the lads were also presented with on the night.
Wayne Searle who established Chartered Accountants ESP Business Solutions in 2008 to help small business owners understand the numbers that make their business tick was the official photographer of the evening whose son has been taking part in the Gingerbreads Soccer School.
Unlocking the potential in the local community is an important part of the ESP Business Solutions philosophy, and as such are proud to support the Gingerbread Soccer School by sponsoring the Grantham Town under 8’s football team.
The next six week course starts on Saturday 10 January for children, both boys and girls, aged from 6 to 12 years old who can enjoy the atmosphere of training in the Stadium in a fun environment whilst learning new football skills.
Sessions are held every Saturday commencing at 10:30am at The Stadium, Trent Road, Grantham. Run by qualified FA coaches and cost only £4 per session or £20 for six sessions.
