Having worked in the care sector for 11 years, Eleanor always had a passion of offering service in the health and wellbeing sector.
Due to her compassionate nature and an interest in beauty she made a brave decision to leave her job and study beauty therapy at Grantham College. “I initially thought that it would be difficult to get back into education but I couldn’t be more wrong. With the support of the tutors and hard work I was able to get my qualification. I am really glad that I decided to go back to college,” said Eleanor.
Having had experience in local salons and also managing her own bouncy castle business, Eleanor was certain that she wanted to open her own salon after completing her qualification.
“I knew that I could do the same and offer the same service as other beauty salons. Providing good service is very important to me. I want to provide a place where clients not only come for treatments but are also able to get full attention and enjoy the relaxation,” said Eleanor.
Amy Taylor who also studied beauty therapy at Grantham College is employed by Eleanor at her salon. “School wasn’t for me. I wanted to do something practical and something I enjoy which is beauty therapy” said Amy.
