Engineering students provide toys for children's ward

Four Anglian Water apprentices raise funds for Kingfisher Ward

Anglian Water apprentice, Mark Fisher saw a poster in his gym from Kingfisher Ward at Grantham Hospital appealing for children's toys. Mark & three classmates contacted local businesses to ask for donations so that they could hold a tombola. The likes of Homebase, Subway, R&R Salons, Apple Tree Restaurant, Jump Revolution and many more donated gifts, items and vouchers which made for a great selection of tombola prizes. A total of £115 was raised at the college tombola which was used to buy toys from B&M.

Mark & his classmates presented the toys to the nurses of the Kingfisher Ward on Thursday 21 June and all were gratefully received.
