Carol Dyer, Careers Advisor at Grantham College, accept the award on behalf of the college at an awards evening on December 11 at the Lincolnshire Guidance Network Conference held at the Myle Cross centre in Lincoln.
Carol said ‘I would like to thank all the staff who helped to provide me with the information needed and with the organisation of the on-site assessment day, and in particular I wish to thank the students who came along to talk to the assessor on the day.’
The Career Mark Assessor, Caroline Diss, said of her experience with the college ‘Thank you for your hospitality and for making the visit run so smoothly. The groups of students provided a good reflection of the range & level of full-time course provision & the corresponding CEIAG. Your students were a credit to the support provided for their progression and as mentioned during the feedback were incredibly complimentary; it was a delight to speak to all the student groups. As discussed …. I shall have no hesitation in recommending that you are revalidated for the Career Mark Award.’
