Grantham College are throwing it back to 2002 to mark the celebration of our new fresher's who start in September.

We’re getting ready to meet our new students in September, so we’d thought we’d do a little throwback of all the things that are as old as our fresher’s or happened the year that they were born in 2002!

1) The second instalment of the Harry Potter Franchise, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets hit the Cinema and instantly became a huge hit!

2) We were all still obsessed with the Sims and had to have the expansion packs that came with it.

3) The second generation of the iPod was released and we didn’t think music technology could get much better.

5) The Queen and the whole of Britain celebrated her Golden Jubilee; marking 50 years.

6) The first series of I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here aired with Tony Blackburn being crowned the winner and nothing now seems better than watching celebrities camped out in the middle of the Jungle!

7) Disney released Lilo and Stitch and it quickly became an animated classic, never did we think we’d want a Blue Alien so much.

8) Our hearts all broke when the denim duo that was Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake split up.

9) Pop Stars: The Rivals aired and we were gifted with Girls Aloud as Sound of the Underground reached Number One at Christmas!
