An exciting opportunity has arisen for Human Resources Apprentice to join our Human Resources department.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient, accurate, timely and confidential HR service across the College.

 

The successful applicant must have:

  • GCSE or equivalent (includes Maths and English A* - C)

  • The ability to work in a non-discriminatory manner

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills

  • Logical, well-organised & flexible in approach

  • IT literate

  • Ability to produce accurate work paying close attention to detail, doing so to tight deadlines under pressure

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload

 

The roles main duties include:

  • Providing day to day HR administrative support to the HR function in a range of administration tasks
  • Maintain and update associated spreadsheets/databases to ensure records are up to date and maintained accurately

  • Monitoring and responding to the HR mailboxes and dealing with general enquires

  • Supporting the HR team with end to end recruitment

  • Supporting and promote safer recruitment practices

  • Supporting with activities relating to staff development

  • Having an understanding of Colleague benefits and administration of payroll

  • Supporting the HR and wider team with day to day tasks, general administrator and involvement in ad hoc project work, when required
