An exciting opportunity has arisen for Business Assessorto join our Business Public Services, Travel, Sport and Academies department.

The purpose of the role is to deliver and assess Business Admin and HR qualifications to ensure the successful completion of Apprenticeship Frameworks.

The successful applicant must have:

  • A comprehensive knowledge of Team Leading and HR competency based qualifications and current standards

  • An understanding of IQA processes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage a cohort of learners and complete in a timely manner, while meeting IQA standards

  • Must have experience of assessing and possess up to date knowledge of what constitutes good assessment practice.

     

    The roles main duties include:

  • Deliver knowledge and competence elements of the Apprenticeship Standards

  • Conduct assessments within agreed timescales.

  • Carry out Apprenticeship observation in the work place.

  • Make assessment decisions and feedback to candidates.

  • Provide up-to-date and completed records available for meetings with Curriculum Manager and IQA to include progress and achievement of each learner.

  • Meet with the EQA and/or submit assessment to the EQA where it is a requirement.

  • Prepare the Apprentice for the EPA.
