Work For Us

Your future career starts here…..

At Grantham College our learners are at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this, we rely on our most valuable asset, our staff. We strive to deliver the best student and staff experience by attracting, developing, and retaining staff who share our passion for learning and advocate our values.

With a diverse range of roles and responsibilities in curriculum and support roles, whatever your areas of expertise, if you share our values, then you’re looking in the right place to start your journey with us.

Whether you are looking for full or part time or term time work, a change in direction, just starting out or returning to work, there is something that will be of interest you. We offer a competitive salary and pension, generous leave entitlements, family friendly policies, development opportunities and a flexible working environment, making us an attractive place to work.

Grantham College ran a trial of a 4-day working week from September 2022, as a result of staff feedback and the positive impacts experienced the trial has been made permanent from April 2023. Staff benefit from a reduction in working hours but still receive full pay, a full-time member of staff with a permanent salaried contract for 37 hours per week reduces to an average of 33 hours per week with the same pro rata reduction for part time employees. Annual leave entitlements will reduce in line with the reduction in contracted hours, but the number of weeks of leave will remain the same. You will work your core hours Monday to Thursday with full time staff working a Friday morning on the 4th week. Upon commencing employment with Grantham College the 4 day week will be discussed with you in detail.

We welcome your interest in becoming part of our staff community at Grantham College. For further information on employment with us, please contact the Human Resources department via hrapplications@grantham.ac.uk. We look forward to receiving your application.
