“This academic year has been incredibly eventful, filled with challenges, creativity, and personal growth,” Tetiana shared. “Each project presented throughout the year has not only been engaging and exciting but has also provided a solid foundation for developing practical and professional skills that are essential in the world of graphic design.”
From branding and typography to editorial and conceptual design, Tetiana embraced every brief with enthusiasm. These projects challenged her to think critically, experiment boldly, and refine her unique design voice.
One of the standout moments in Tetiana’s experience was the introduction of a new graphic design tutor partway through the year. “Their enthusiasm, guidance, and industry insight made a real difference—especially during our final two projects. Their support helped me to see each challenge as an opportunity. I’m sincerely grateful for their creative input and professionalism.”
Tetiana’s favourite unit, Art Direction & Branding, allowed her to dive deep into the full creative process—from research and concept development to execution and final presentation. “This project helped me discover where my true passion lies. It gave me the clarity and confidence to pursue Level 6 studies, specialising in this area.”
Looking ahead, Tetiana feels prepared and excited for the next phase of her academic and professional journey. “The course confirmed that I am on the right path. I’m eager to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the creative industry.”
She also offered thoughtful suggestions for course development: “I would love to see Grantham College offer a full Level 6 programme in graphic design. It would provide students with a seamless transition and reduce the stress of relocating. Upgrading the technical facilities—especially the printing equipment—would also be a great benefit, as reliable access to high-quality print tools is essential.”
In closing, Tetiana reflected on her time with pride and appreciation:
“I’m proud to have been part of Grantham College and the Graphic Design Department. The course has equipped me with valuable skills, knowledge, and experiences that I will carry forward. I’m grateful for the creative and supportive environment, and I look forward to seeing how the course continues to grow in the future.”
