An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Projects Compliance Officer to join our Business Development Projects Team.

 

The purpose of the role is to support the Projects team in planning, implementing and maintaining administrative processes to ensure financial and beneficiary evidence is accurate, up-to-date and meets funding requirements.  The role will be split between the Learning, Employment and Progression (LEAP) project co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Building Better Opportunities Engagement into Learning Project co-financed by The National Lottery Community Fund and ESF.

 

The successful applicant must have:

 

  • English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
  • Experience in maintaining accurate and comprehensive records
  • Experience of quality assurance systems

 

The roles main duties include:

 

  • Using a variety of software packages to produce correspondence documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases
  • Supporting the Partnership Engagement Manager to ensure all systems and procedures are well maintained, compatible and user friendly to ensure all project operations run smoothly
  • Working with relevant staff to collate claims data, and liaise with key staff in funding organisation to resolve any discrepancies
  • Compiling funding claims, ensuring outputs and results are evidenced accurately and that data is recorded in line with the College’s and funder’s information and data protocols
  • Supporting the collection and retention of auditable evidence, liaising with relevant project staff to maintain funding requirements
