Introduction to GCSE Maths (CL4)

Overview

This course is mandatory if you wish to do GCSE Maths. 

Am I Ready?

You will be required to complete an initial assessment in maths which tells us what level of maths you have. If you achieve a Level 1 or 2 in this then you will be given the opportunity to complete the GCSE Maths assessment.

Course Details

The Introduction to GCSE Maths course covers some of the basic number topics needed such as BODMAS, the four operations: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, fractions, decimals and percentages.

Assessment

On-going assessment throughout the lessons.

Your Next Steps

If students show commitment and 100% attendance to the course then they will be able to progress on the full GCSE Maths course for the rest of the academic year.
