The Life Skills course follows an accredited programme focusing on building independent living skills and social skills. You will study units that will encompass the preparation for adulthood outcomes whilst working towards nationally recognised qualifications in literacy and numeracy.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
You will be following a bespoke non-accredited programme of study (RARPA). The tailored programme encompasses Travel Training, Personal Safety, Basic Cooking Techniques, Money Skills, Personal Presentation and Fitness. You will also study maths & English Functional Skills, working towards a recognised City and Guilds qualification.
Continual assessment.
Full Time Further Education courses are free to school leavers and those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course. Exam resit fees may apply as applicable.</p.

Students that are unemployed and currently seeking work, or on a low income of up to £25,000 per annum may be able to enrol to a course at Level 2 or below free of charge.
