This course is suitable for any hospitality team member currently in or thinking of pursuing a career in hospitality. The different paths allow for a varied type of learner performing varied roles in the hospitality industry
To be working in a hospitality and catering establishment in the front of house area, ideally in food and beverage service, serving alcoholic beverages, barista or food preparation.
Course to focus on the demand of the business but centred around certain core standards based on the specialism and the type of establishment, standards to include; customers, people, business, first line supervision and a specialist subject from; Food and Beverage Service, Alcohol Service (wine, beer and cask or cocktail service) and food production.
90 minute on demand test. 2 hour Practical observation in the workplace. Business project. Professional discussion.
Apprenticeships' minimum wage is £3.90 per hour.
Progression from this apprenticeship is expected to be onto a hospitality supervisory or team leading role.
