Highfield Certificate Customer Service (Level 2)

Overview

This qualification is suitable for you if you wish to improve your knowledge of the importance of customer service including how to satisfy customer expectations. It will underpin your knowledge of how to deal with customers on a daily basis as part of a job role and is applicable to a variety of work environments.

Access to a laptop/technology is required to complete this course and submit the evidence electronically although students can complete paper copies of the workbooks if this is not accessible to them.

Am I Ready?

There are no formal entry requirements however learners should be aged 19 or above at the start of the academic year to undertake this qualification.  The programme is aimed at those who have already completed Level 1 Customer Service.  Learners must be able to read and understand the learning resources and complete the written work with moderate assistance and will therefore benefit from having a reasonable understanding of reading and writing the English language. Course Details

YOU CAN START THIS COURSE AT ANY TIME THROUGHOUT THE ACADEMIC YEAR BUT THERE IS AN EXPECTATION THAT YOU WILL COMPLETE WITHIN TWELVE WEEKS.  FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE WILL INCUR A £50 ADMINISTRATION CHARGE.

The distance learning course provides learners with the knowledge and understanding in customer service for learners who deal, or intend to deal, with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role. The qualification is applicable to a variety of work environments and covers topics such as delivery of effective customer service and supporting the customer service environment. The course is delivered over an 12 week period. During the 12 week period, the student will be expected to complete the 5 workbooks to a satisfactory standard, in their own time. Additional tutor support is provided for the duration of the course via email, telephone, text message and post.

Assessment

You will complete 5 Workbooks which are assessed via internally set and marked tasks which are externally moderated by the awarding body.

Fees & Funding

Low Income / Unemployed Seeking Work

Students that are unemployed and currently seeking work, or on a low income of up to £20,319 per annum may be able to enrol to a course at Level 2 or below free of charge. This is a government initiative and the course offer is subject to change. Grantham College reserves the right to offer a substitute course if the qualification advertised is not funded by the government. This does not affect your rights under Consumer Law.
