Do you want to be an electrical engineer? The HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering course will teach you the fundamentals of electronics, electrical engineering, power engineering and mathematics. The HND course is an ideal for those who want to progress in the electrical and electronics industry and provides a platform for further study or training. The HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering is designed to refine your skills, and is ideal for engineers working in electronic design, power engineering, manufacture and maintenance.
The course is delivered at Grantham College and is taught between 7.5 and 9 hours a week on a day release basis. For each taught hour there is the expectation of t least one hour of self study will take place. The course runs for 1.5 academic years. Delivery of the HND will take place via formal lectures, and practical workshop \ tutorials.
There is a mixture of specialist’s staff delivering the course, with varying industrial, academic and teaching experience. All staff have a BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) degrees in their field of expertise.
