My passion for making has been life long and extends across multiple 2D and 3D processes. "After gaining my degree in 3D Design specializing in Furniture Design and Manufacture, I was awarded an industrial placement through the Royal Society of Arts - Young Designers in Industry Scheme. This placement lead to me spending several years working in the design industry but a move to Lincolnshire enabled me to move into Design Education, something that I had always wanted to do. "For the past 20 years I have been working with and sharing my industry knowledge with students of all ages and abilities which is something that I regard as a priviledge. "My understanding of the design industry has meant that I have been able to design a vocational style curriculum working with outside agencies such as the National Trust and Rosa Productions giving students opportunities beyond the normal teaching environment. These projects have meant that I have built contacts beyond the classroom and this is something that I want to explore more in the future."
