A Customer Services Apprenticeship teaches the skills to provide excellent customer service, and can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors, from government to telecommunications.
You will be required to arrange a work placement.
Customer service apprentices, will work at the front end of an employer’s business activities and regularly assist customers. Duties will vary between sectors, but in most cases Apprentices will be making sure that customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way – whether that’s by offering advice, answering questions or handling complaints.
Showcase, observation & professional discussion.
The employer will sign an Apprenticeship Agreement. The college will complete a Health & Safety Advisory visit at the learners usual place of work. The employer pays the apprentice wage. From 1st April 2019, the apprentice minimum rate of £3.90 per hour applies. This will apply to apprentices who are aged under 19 or aged 19 & over in their first year of their Apprenticeship.
For candidates who successfully complete their Level 2 Customer Services Apprenticeship, there will be the opportunity to progress on to the Advanced Apprenticeship where this is approved by the employer and tutor/assessor.
