Introduction to the Care of Small Animals (CL6)

Overview

The sessions will be spilt into two three-hour sessions this will include one hour of theory, one hour of practical finishing with another hour of theory which will also include a recap and a quiz on the sessions discussed that day

 

Suitable for anyone with an interest in small animals,  course includes and introduction to small animals and the five welfare needs, their feeding requirements, housing needs, and health and disease and handling with practical animal handling and health checks to help cement learning

Assessment

Practical observation and end of course quiz

Additional Information

PPE will be needed but this can be provided, proof of tetanus vaccination, pens and paper for note taking
