Level 2 is ideal if you have some working knowledge or skill already in plastering – from taking a lower qualification like the Level 1 or have been working under supervision in Industry. Full Time Further Education courses are free to school leavers and those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course. Exam resit fees may apply as applicable.

In order to be able to study on this course you will need to purchase a kit which includes the essential range of equipment for you to start the course. A construction site uniform is also available to order and is mandatory. Both kit and uniform should be ordered in advance of starting the course. You will also need to wear steel toe capped boots when entering all areas within the construction site.
Completion of this qualification will enable you to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Plastering and study towards becoming an Advanced Level Plasterer. You could also work within the industry or secure a Craft plasterer Apprenticeship with an employer.
