QAA Approved Courses
In February 2016, Grantham College was awarded the prestigious QAA quality mark for University level courses. QAA is similar to Ofsted in that they review the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes for students across four key areas, all of which met the standard at Grantham.
The maintenance of the academic standards of awards offered on behalf of degree-awarding bodies and/or other awarding organisations;
The quality of student learning opportunities;
The quality of the information about learning opportunities;
The enhancement of student learning opportunities;
Having QAA approval means that the courses being offered at Grantham College are of the same standard as those being delivered in larger Universities.
Higher Education Action Plan
National Student Survey (NSS)
We are so good at delivering University level courses that we achieved 95% student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2016. This fantastic result places Grantham College 13 percentage points above the national benchmark, in the top 9 colleges in the UK and demonstrates that we have the most satisfied University level students in Lincolnshire (when compared to other FE colleges).
There are lots of benefits to studying locally:
- Fit your learning around your own commitments
- Keep your social life
- Live at home or independently whilst you study
- Access a more affordable University level study

If you have a disability or learning difficulty we can help you apply for DSA.
