Leading Table Tennis player at Grantham College

Emily Bolton wins gold

Emily Bolton studies HNC Sport at Grantham College and has been playing Table Tennis for 10 years. Emily’s passion started with an afternoon club at her school in Cumbria and has kept on growing ever since. Emily now lives in halls at Grantham College and has studied here for three years. Continually improving and playing in higher leagues, Emily has played internationally and recently won two gold medals at Tipton Grand Prix making her the best in the country.

For now, Emily is looking to stay in education and will continue to play alongside. Emily’s Table Tennis Coach, Gavin Evans commented: “Emily is very modest but I think she could have a great full-time career ahead of her in Table Tennis. It could take her to the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games.

Grantham College’s Table Tennis Academy is no stranger to bringing out the best players; Tom Jarvis went on to the 2016 Olympics and 5 other gold medals were won at the recent Tipton Grand Prix.
