Accommodation is available on campus in Sedgwick Hall and Sedgwick Mews. Detailed information on fees for college owned accommodation for 2016/17 will be available from January 2016.
A total of 67 places are available and all rooms are furnished with their own en-suite facilities (shared bathrooms in Sedgwick Mews). Rent is payable termly.

Our accommodation was inspected by OFSTED in March 2012 and graded Outstanding. If you want to live off-campus, you should contact the Student Accommodation Manager who can help arrange alternative accommodation with carefully selected families or in privately rented accommodation close to the College. Travelling to College
Secure storage for bicycles is provided and shower facilities are also available.
Limited student parking is available for blue badge holders before 4.30pm. After 4.30pm car parking spaces are available and provided free of charge to students and visitors. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional parking can be found at the public car park situated in Welham Street, close to the main campus.
The e-Learning Centre
The e-Learning Centre has been designed to provide you with a state-of the- art learning environment to study in.
The Centre has 32 open access PCs, all with internet access, Microsoft Windows 7 and Office 2016, with some available to book in advance. Black and white and colour printing and photocopying facilities are also available.
The Centre also lends laptops for use both on and off campus. In addition, there are 4 separate Skills seminar rooms, or ‘pods’, each equipped with between 16 and 26 PCs and a data projector.
The Centre is open from 8.30am to 5.00pm Mondays, 8.30am to 8.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Fridays during term time.
The College Library
The college has a well-stocked library. Learning resources available to you include 30,000 books, a wide range of journals and magazines, DVDs, daily newspapers and an online catalogue system for research use and book reservations. You can also access the internet via 10 computer workstations. The college subscribes to collections of electronic books and online databases which can be accessed on campus and from anywhere you have internet access.
Wireless internet access is available in the library and at selected locations around the college.
The library is open from 8.30am to 5.00pm on Mondays, 8.30am to 6.00pm Tuesday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays during term time. Please check opening hours for holidays.
Conference & Exhibition Facilities
The College has a variety of facilities suitable for the meeting and conference needs of businesses large and small.
Subject to availability these are available to hire in business hours (College opening hours are Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm) as well as during the evenings and College holidays.
The Conference Room is situated in the College’s Management suite, with fitted computer/projection equipment and OHP facilities available upon request. In the past the College has played host to a wide variety of different organisations.

Food and Drink
A wide choice of meals are available from the main refectory at very competitive prices. Snacks are available from vending machines throughout the College and from Nixx, our shop & cafeteria.
Nixx has seating for 100 people and a wide choice of hot and cold snacks, including confectionery, paninis, bagels, salads and jacket potatoes, as well as stationery, cards and personal items.
Hot meals are available from 4.30 pm Tuesday – Thursday. Students, staff and the general public can also dine in the College’s Apple Tree Restaurant which is run by the Hospitality & Catering Department.
The College has an excellent range of sports facilities including a large indoor sports hall and a supervised fitness suite, containing cardiovascular machines and weight training equipment.
You also have the opportunity to represent the College in a wide range of sports including basketball, football, netball and rugby.
The StAR Forum is a democratic organisation which presents your views to the College management. The Students’ Union represents the student population on College committees and organises your entertainment.
