Animal Management

The HNC in Animal Management provides a good foundation for those students who have a real passion for working with animals, aiming to prepare students for supervisory level jobs within the animal care sector or to support educational progression within the subject.

This HNC course is also well suited for those who currently work in the industry and would like to further develop their skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to progress within the sector. Subjects covered include animal husbandry, animal health and welfare, business environment and a research project.

Teaching occurs both in the classroom and in our onsite animal care centre and is supported through planned fieldwork and trips.
