Grantham College Business Development Centre provides training and skills development for individuals, employers and the community. The Business Development Centre is working to ensure that local needs are met through Government initiatives which include: Train to Gain; Apprenticeship Programmes; Personal and Community Development Learning; Response to Redundancy and Employability Skills Programmes. The Business Development Centre is our response to the Government’s agenda to tackle social and educational exclusion.
It’s not just for business
Whilst we offer bespoke and packaged learning for many businesses, we also offer training for individuals. Whether you want to gain some IT skills at our flexible ‘drop-in’ centre conveniently located in the town centre, or you want to try Ceramics at the College’s modern Arts Centre, we can help. We offer courses that start throughout the year and at all levels to suit your needs, please ask for details at the Reception based on the second floor of the George Centre.

About Apprenticeships
More than 200 students from Grantham and surrounding areas are currently following Apprenticeship programmes. Grantham College has built up an excellent record for student success and has enabled students to gain nationally recognised qualifications and formal skills within the workplace. Getting paid while you learn might sound too good to be true – but as an apprentice with Grantham College you really do get the best of both worlds. While you are studying your qualifications you will be able to get hands on work experience.
