The Certificate in Hospitality and Catering introduces students to the various specialisms that the industry has to offer.

The HAB (Hospitality Awarding Body) Certificate in Hospitality & Catering introduces you to the various specialisms that the industry has to offer. On this course you will learn skills in food preparation and food service and will be assessed in the realistic working environment of the College’s Witham Room Restaurant. In addition you will undertake the IEHO Basic Food Safety Award.

You may be required to continue to study English, maths or IT as part of your course.

Continual assessment of practical skills and underpinning knowledge.

This course is suitable for you if you are considering embarking on a career within the industry, and will also help you to find well paid part-time work during the College year.
