The NVQ Level 1 in Beauty Therapy prepares students for employment within the beauty therapy industry.

This course prepares you for employment within the industry in an assisting role. You will cover both the practice and theory of beauty therapy.

Basic skill areas covered include:

• Facial Treatments
• Health & Safety
• Nail Treatments
• Reception
• Teamwork

Progression to NVQ Level 2 provides further creative and employment opportunities.

You may be required to continue to study maths, English or IT as part of your course.

Continual Practical/Oral/Written Assessment.

On completion of this programme you may be able to progress to NVQ Level 2 and/or work within the industry.

This course only offered to those who apply for Level 2 Beauty Therapy but do not meet the entry requirements or need support throughout the course. Progression to Level 2 is not guaranteed.
