The NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy prepares you for employment within the beauty therapy industry. You cover both the practice and theory of beauty therapy, undertaking all the basic skill areas including:

• Face & Eye Treatments
• Health, Safety & Employment Standards
• Make-up Techniques
• Manicure/Pedicure
• Retail
• Team Work & Customer Service Waxing.

You may be required to continue to study maths, English or IT as part of your course.

Continual Practical/Oral/Theoretical Assessments.

Employment opportunities include working within beauty therapy salons, whether they are small private businesses or large city centre salons. Additionally, opportunities exist in retailing and within large cosmetic companies.
